Shelter Music Boston is honored to be selected as the Community Partner for the Longwood Symphony Orchestra's concert on Saturday, December 2nd! In this concert, titled Hope and Healing, the LSO will perform a symphonic program showcasing the works of Augusta Read Thomas, Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and Ralph Vaughn Williams. The concert will also feature soloist Chelsea Guo on the piano for Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1.
At our pre-concert reception, Shelter Music Boston will offer light refreshments, hors d’oeuvres, and an exclusive performance by SMB musicians, including our Artistic Director, Adrian Anantawan. Proceeds of tickets purchased through Shelter Music Boston directly benefit SMB programs, making a meaningful contribution to our work. Tickets can be purchased through Shelter Music Boston for either the concert ($30 per ticket) or the concert and pre-concert reception ($100 per ticket). We hope you will join us and that the music uplifts you in the same way it transforms and heals our audiences in sheltering environments. Please email [email protected] with any questions. |
