Our Ensemble Leaders direct monthly concerts at 5 program sites that serve adults.

Our Monthly Concerts

Our Ensemble Leaders direct the monthly concerts at our adult partner sites. Each Ensemble Leader puts together a program featuring pieces by diverse composers that showcase a range of emotional and musical qualities, and they work with other musicians from Shelter Music Boston’s roster to form an ensemble. From the typical string quartet of two violins, a viola, and a cello, to innovative pairings like flute and classical guitar, every group is unique and of the highest quality.

Each ensemble delivers an hour-long concert to all of our partner sites over the course of a month. A new ensemble returns the following month, with new programming, and on it goes!
